American & Efird meets zero waste to landfill target

“We are very proud of our US manufacturing operations,” the company’s chief executive, Fred Jackson, said on making the announcement. “This achievement is the result of the hard work, commitment and dedication of our company leadership and our employees. We are committed to the principle that practising sustainability and corporate social responsibility is the right thing to do.”
Other initiatives the company has undertaken as part of a wide environmental strategy include water conservation efforts across the company’s international network of factories.
