Yak wool collection expands

Yak wool brand Kora is expanding its baselayer offering and launching an updated website.

New items include a neck layer, boxer shorts, neck gaiter and hats.

Michael Kleinwort, founder of Kora, said: “The lifecycle of harvesting yak wool to produce comfortable and quality outdoor apparel is extensive.Growing our line took incredible work from our Himalayan partners and lengthy collaboration across our entire production team.”

Hima-Layer Original has wicking and natural anti-bacterial qualities and the company claims it has 66% greater air permeability, 17% greater water vapour permeability and is 40% warmer than merino wool fabrics.
