Fusalp opens new boutique in Paris
Ski brand Fusalp has opened its first boutique in Paris. The Annecy-based brand offers high-end ski jackets, trousers and other outer wear, and has a luxury collection called 1952, to commemorate the year the brand started.

Two members of the Lacoste family took control of Fusalp at the start of 2014. Brother and sister Sophie and Philippe Lacoste are members of the family behind the Lacoste sports brand, but gave up their involvement to run Fusalp. At the start of 2015, Philippe’s wife, Mathilde Lacoste, became Fusalp’s creative director.

Covering 110 square-metres in all, the new Paris boutique is in the heart of Le Marais. Fusalp has said that rather than just a place to shop, it wants the boutique to be “an inviting space in which customers can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and read a book”.

In addition, the space will host temporary photographic exhibitions, beginning with the work of French walker and photographer Éric Bourret.
