Outdoor brand Patagonia has moved its UK team and showroom to a new site in the centre of Manchester, citing proximity to the international airport and other transport hubs, and to other key outdoor brands (making the new location convenient for customers) as its main reason.

Central Manchester is also a stone’s throw away from some of the best hiking, climbing and fishing areas in the UK, meaning the new Patagonia headquarters will be close to “the homes of some of the slow sports that are very much at the core of the business and at the heart of the team”, the company said.
