Formal launch of Oeko-Tex’s Eco Passport for textile chemicals

Oeko-Tex announced the Eco Passport at the start of this year and says that a six-month pilot phase with manufacturers has now been completed.
“The results were very positive and the first certified textile chemical producers have already accessed the key benefits of the new concept,” it said.
It offers textile chemical manufacturers what the organisation called “a confidential and independent method to reassure customers that chemicals, colourants, and auxiliaries are in line with the industry’s sustainability requirements and initiatives”.
