Avery Dennison makes European acquisition

Mactac’s operations in North America and its exports from Europe to North America form no part of the deal. However, export business with customers in South America, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa is included.
Avery Dennison chief executive, Dean Scarborough, said at the time of the announcement that Mactac’s technology will enhance his company’s competitiveness.
With a manufacturing facility in Soignies, Belgium, along with sales offices and warehouses in eight other European countries, the Mactac business will expand Avery Dennison’s global footprint.
