Materials marketed under the Italian company’s Graphene Plus (G+) brand have already been incorporated into ski and golf clothing collections by high-end sports brand Colmar and into bicycle tyres and wheels by Vittoria Industries (pictured).
On announcing its intention to look for new investors on AIM, Directa Plus emphasised that its production process is sustainable and chemical-free. It also said its technology is scaleable and that it will be able to replicate the process whenever and wherever required to meet demand.
The company’s chief executive and co-founder, Giulio Cesareo, said on making the announcement: “Graphene’s properties are increasingly being recognised and consequently, the number of potential market applications is growing. Having overcome an important barrier to commercialisation, our focus is on satisfying the growing demand from potential customers in our core sectors and to partner with them to create new products.”
