Shima Seiki to put technology on show in Galashiels

Flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki is to hold a private exhibition of its technology at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland this month. The event will take place from May 25-27 at the university’s School of Textiles & Design in Galashiels, in the former textile hub of the Scottish Borders. The institution was formerly the Scottish College of Textiles.

Technology on display will include Shima Seiki’s Mach2XS Wholegarment knitting machine and its SDS-One Apex3 design system.
