Archroma to put colour library advances on display at Brazilian event

Textile chemicals manufacturer Archroma is taking part in the Febratex 2016 exhibition in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil (August 9-12).

The company has said it wants to use its presence at the event, which describes itself as the biggest chemical industry exhibition in Latin America, to underscore its commitment to sustainability. Archroma will also use the event to launch its Color Atlas colour library in the Brazilian market and to highlight its Inkpresso digital printing system.

Color Atlas is a cotton poplin colour library with more than 4,300 available shares. It has a feature called ‘Colour On The Go’, which allows users to capture an image using a smartphone, identify the closest Color Atlas shade to the colours in the photograph and, if desired, purchase a color sample instantly.

“We believe we are redefining the concept of a colour library for the textile industry,” said Archroma’s head of service businesses, Brad McClanahan, at the start of Febratex. “We offer what we believe is a unique set of tools for colour selection, colour development, colour standards, and the communication of seasonal colour palettes.”
