Guess signs up for denim recycling programme
Lifestyle brand Guess has partnered with Cotton Inc.’s ‘Blue Jeans Go Green’ programme to recycle unwanted denim garments.

Guess’s ‘Fall Denim Recycling’ campaign will be launched in more than 160 of its stores in the US and Canada. It will encourage its customers to recycle their denim at any local Guess store.

Denim collected through the ‘Blue Jeans Go Green’ programme, which Cotton Inc. founded in 2006, is transformed into UltraTouch Denim Insulation with the help of manufacturing partner Bonded Logic. Cotton Inc. has so far managed to divert more than 600 tonnes of denim from landfill.

"Guess Fall Denim Recycling programme will provide our customers and the community with the resources to make a positive change,” said Guess CEO, Victor Herrero.

"We know GUESS customers love their denim, and this drive will give them a chance to recycle their old jeans and find some new favourites," added Andrea Samber, co-director of strategic alliances at Cotton Inc.
