Trützschler input leads to Invista factory expansion plan

Invista has announced a $30-million expansion at its fibre manufacturing plant in South Carolina. The company says the development represents the fibre industry’s first-ever offering of one-step, small-lot capability specifically for solution-dyed nylon 6,6.

Swiss equipment manufacturer Trützschler worked closely with Invista to develop the proprietary small-lot technology.
