Techtextil and Dornbirn events to work more closely together

The Techtextil and the Dornbirn Man-made Fibres Congress (MFC) in Austria are to work more closely together in future.

This year’s MFC (September 20-22) will be the fifty-fifth time the congress has been held and participants will have the opportunity to visit Techtextil’s information stand to see what is on the agenda for the next Techtexti technical textiles and nonwovens event in Frankfurt (May 9-12, 2017). In turn, Dornbirn MFC will put together a three hour block of lectures as part of the Techtextil Symposium 2017 and will also be represented with a stand at the trade fair.
 
“In sectors such as technical textiles, driven by innovation, there is a close link between research and application. The Dornbirn MFC provides a platform to present the results of the latest research, while Techtextil shows ‘real life’ product innovations,” said the director of brand management for technical textiles and textile processing at Techtextil organiser Messe Frankfurt, Michael Jänecke.
