ITV presents new denim collection in Munich

09/09/2016
Italian denim and textile company ITV presented a range of products from its Autumn/Winter 2017-18 collection at the recent Munich Fabric Start fair (August 30-September 1).

The company said the range was produced using “cutting-edge technologies and finishing” with a focus on “exploring the new frontiers from heritage to new trends”.

For its ‘Workin’ Hero’ line, ITV took inspiration from the original concept of the working clothes used by miners. It includes vintage effects, such as sulphur dyes. The ‘Memories’ range is produced entirely with combed fabrics to create a cool and lightweight material with excellent elasticity.

ITV created the ‘Supersoft’ line with a new weaving technique based on careful selection of raw materials. The cottons used are woven in a manner that make the material dynamic. The ‘Flexiblu’ range is inspired by stretch fabrics.

The company also presented three lines dedicated to luxury ‘Sartoria’, ‘Luxuryblends’ and ‘Cimosa’. All three see cotton combined with silk and wool yarns to add a luxury touch to denim.

ITV displayed their collection at the fair’s Catalyser Bluezone, an area reserved for the most innovative companies in the denim world. It focused on developments in the denim industry and eco-sustainable manufacturing.
