Wolverine starts expansion project at Michigan factory

The company will add 250 new jobs when the project is complete in the early part of next year; it will provide “much-needed additional capacity while creating opportunities for Wolverine to operate more efficiently”, it explained.
Built in 1964, the plant originally produced Wolverine and Hush Puppies branded footwear. Today, the group makes Merrell, Bates and Hytest footwear there.
