Performance baselayer brand ColdPruf will introduce four new styles for winter 2017-2018 at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2017 exhibition in Salt Lake City (January 10-12).

New Zephyr styles for men and women feature the brand’s Silvadur anti-odour technology and a mini-waffle knit that provides high levels of moisture management and warmth. The men’s crew features mesh inserts under the arms to provide additional ventilation during high-intensity activities in cold weather, such as alpine or Nordic skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing or climbing. An athletic cut and drop-tail prevents riding up and flat seams, sleeve cuffs and a tagless design aid comfort. The women’s crew features a racerback mesh insert and longer sleeves with mesh thumbholes, extended body, flat seams, and a tagless design.

The men’s and women’s Zephyr bottoms are constructed in a similar way to the tops. The men’s bottoms feature a mesh insert in the fly and thigh gussets that provide additional ventilation and superior fit, front and back rise and a comfort waistband. The women’s leggings feature a yoga-style waistband, a mesh venting insert starting at the shin and wrapping behind the knee, along with front and back rise to keep the leggings in place in all activities. Both the men’s and women’s styles have an athletic cut, flat seams, hemmed cuffs and tagless design for comfort.

Two further new styles are just for men, the Platinum II and the Journey. The Platinum II styles are engineered with a dual-layer insulation system that traps warm air between layers. The interior material is the brand’s proprietary ColdPruf performance polyester and the exterior is a polyester-merino wool blend that delivers high levels of moisture management, rapid drying and warmth.

The Journey crew and bottoms have high levels of moisture management properties, making them especially suited to stop-and-go activities like alpine skiing and winter hiking; they provide high levels of insulation when used as a mid-layer during static activities in cold weather, such as hunting, ice fishing or camping.
