New paddlesports event announced

Canoeing equipment brands have welcomed a new event, Paddlesports Retailer, which will run for the first time in September 2017 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Organisers Sutton Bacon and Darren Bush said a decision to bring the dates for the Outdoor Retailer event forward in the calendar was going to make it difficult for paddlesports companies to continue to attend the Salt Lake City event. Early summer is peak season for manufacturers and retailers, they said.
