ICA Bremen to run two training courses in May

The six-day ‘Cotton Classing and Testing’ programme will take place from May 9 to 16 in Bremen, Germany. It will be delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen and the Bremen Fibre Institute.
ICA says the course is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and those within the textile industry. It will provide in-depth knowledge if cotton classing and testing.
“We will cover essential basics regarding quality of cotton and explore other topics in more detail to give participants good knowledge of important aspects of visual and instrumental quality evaluation for their work in the cotton industry,” explained Karsten Froese, a course deliver at ICA Bremen.
It will be followed by a ‘Learning about Machinery’ training course, which will be delivered with the help of German textile research organisation Institute of Textile Technology and Process Engineering (ITV). That programme will take place from May 18 to 18 at ITV’s headquarters in Denkendorf, Germany.
