Sanitized says its products can make textiles more sustainable

Antimicrobial finish developer Sanitized has said it will present innovative material protection solutions at Techtextil in Frankfurt (May 9-12) that “securely and permanently prevent mould, mildew, algae, pink stain and bacteria” from forming.

Products on display will include a plasticizer that maintains elasticity and flexibility, water-resistant membranes and materials that prevent the formation of biofilm, the cause of staining and odour.

It said in the build-up to the event that textiles treated with the Sanitized products have a longer service life, which in turn contributes to the sustainable use of resources.
