Wolverine brand bolsters sales and marketing team

Footwear brand Wolverine, which is the flagship brand of the Wolverine Worldwide Group, has added to its sales and marketing team.

In February 2016, the group announced a new group structure for its brands, which saw them split into three segments: Wolverine Outdoor and Lifestyle Group, Wolverine Boston Group and Wolverine Heritage Group. The Wolverine brand is part of the latter group.

It has appointed John Estes as vice president of global sales. He moves from his position of general manager of the Sebago brand, which is part the parent group’s Outdoor and Lifestyle division. He will be responsible for all sales for the Wolverine brand, including footwear, apparel and international businesses. 

Andy Shripka will become the brand’s vice president of marketing, a role that will see him focus on all aspects of global marketing, including brands strategy, consumer engagement, and retail and consumer direct marketing.
