POC renews sponsorship of Enduro World Series team

Enduro races are for mountain-bikers and involve timed downhill and untimed uphill stages. Racing is over a series of special stages and whoever has the fastest combined time after those stages wins.
In only its second year, Ibis came second overall in the 2016 Enduro World Series and ahead of the start of 2017 series in Rotorua, New Zealand, on March 26, POC said it was pleased to renew its support of the team. The Ibis team will ride with helmets, eyewear, body armour and apparel from POC, including products from a special enduro range in its new Resistance mountain bike collection.
POC’s head of marketing, Paul Morel, said on announcing the new deal with Ibis: “The first season of our partnership has been marked by extremely positive experiences and it’s a pleasure to keep working closely with Ibis and the Enduro Race Team in 2017. We are proud that our products have helped the team perform to such a high standard and riders’ feedback has been invaluable in making our Resistance collection even better in 2017.”
