Techtextil and Texprocess close with attendance up by 14%

The 2017 editions of Techtextil and Texprocess ended on May 12 after four successful days. Many of the 1,789 exhibitors said their stands were busy from start to finish.

Organiser Messe Frankfurt said at the close that around 47,500 visitors had come through the doors, an increase of 14% compared to 2015. These events take place once every two years.

In total, visitors from 114 countries made their way to Frankfurt for the events to discover innovative products in technical textiles and the latest processing technologies. There was a strong emphasis on Industry 4.0, smart and functional textiles and digitalisation of textile and apparel production.

The next Techtextil and Texprocess will be held in Frankfurt from May 14-17, 2019.
