A London-based Frost & Sullivan team picked out Sorona as a good example of this commitment. Sorona is a polymer that contains 37% annually renewable plant-based ingredients and uses 30% less energy and releases 63% fewer greenhouse gas than the production of nylon 6, according to DuPont.
Global business director for biomaterials at DuPont, Michael Saltzberg, said: “We are thrilled to receive this recognition from Frost & Sullivan’s experienced team, as we continue our work to find sustainable, practical solutions for our customers in a variety of markets.”
