Sensoria unveils its first smart running shoe

The shoes come equipped with three sensors in the plantar area of the foot. They will be complemented by Sensoria Core, a new microelectronic component designed specifically for sensor-connected footwear. It can be fitted into a dock in the back panel of the running shoe.
The technology also includes an artificial intelligence component, which Sensoria calls Mara. It is able to detect core data like cadence, foot landing and impact forces and teach the wearer how to become a better and more efficient runner and how to reduce their risk of injuries.
The Sensoria Smart Running Show is available in yellow, black, red or blue. They will retail at $199 but Sensoria is offering a pre-order holiday promotion of $99. This includes a pair of textile pressure infused smart running shoes, a Sensoria Core and a USB charger.
