Its new store, covering 2,000 square-metres, is in Jakarta. Decathlon said on opening it that its aim is to “make sport accessible to the largest possible number of people” there.
In addition, the company said it will aim to have at least 50% Indonesia-made stock in the store in the course of the next ten years.
Country manager, Jérémie Ruppert, said at the time of the opening that Decathlon is completely convinced it can procure this volume of product in Indonesia without any compromise on quality.
