Parting of the ways for Willy Bogner and new CEO

Apparel brand Willy Bogner “parted ways” with its chief executive, Alexander Wirth, with immediate effect at the end of November. The Munich-based company said there was “a difference of opinion on the company’s focus”.

Will Bogner, son of the founder, ran the company until 2016, when Alexander Wirth took over.

The brand has already announced that its director of design and marketing, Andreas Baumgärtner, will assume the role of chief executive, in addition to his current responsibilities.
