Eastman celebrates Naia’s first birthday

At the most recent Interfilière trade show in Paris (January 20-22), advanced materials developer Eastman celebrated the first anniversary of the launch of its Naia cellulosic yarn.

The yarn is produced from wood pulp, sourced from qualified suppliers holding internationally recognised sustainable harvesting certifications. Naia recently achieved Oeko-Tex product class I certification and is approved for use in the most intensive skin-contact applications on even the most sensitive skin. It is naturally hypoallergenic, making it ideal for use in intimate apparel and other next-to-skin applications.
