Schoeller material features in cross-country ski racing suit
Swedish sportswear company Craft has worked with circular knit specialist Jersey Lomellina and textile developer Schoeller to create what it claims is its lightest ever cross-country ski racing suit.

The new suit, which it calls Stratum, includes a low-resistance fabric from Schoeller which features a dimple structure designed to provide superior aerodynamics.

Another of Craft’s main objectives was to develop racing clothing that keeps the wearer cool during high intensity activity. “To meet this challenge, Stratum is a body-mapping wonderland of very thin materials, open structure fabrics and laser-cut perforations, offering superior breathability at the back, chest, armpits and back of knee,” it has explained.

The company collaborated with skiers on Ski Team Sweden and US Ski Team while developing Stratum.
