Arc’teryx opens flagship store in Beijing
Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx has opened a new flagship store in Beijing, taking the total number of flagships it has around the world to six, adding to those in Vancouver, Washington DC, London, Tokyo and Shanghai.

The new store is in the WF Central retail centre in Wangfujing, a popular shopping location. Arc’teryx said it will help meet “the surging demand for high-quality functional apparel in China” and encourage people to take part in outdoor sports.

Beijing will host the 2022 Winter Olympics and the number of winter sports enthusiasts in China is expected to rise from around 10 million at present to 300 million when the games begin.
