Double-digit Q1 growth for Puma

Sports brand Puma achieved more than €1.1 billion in sales in the first quarter of 2018, an increase of 12.5% compared to the same quarter last year. The company said it had recorded double-digit growth “in all regions and all product segments” during the three-month period.

Its growth in Asia, led by its performance in the Chinese market, was almost 35%.

It said its highlights for the quarter included the launch of a limited-edition shoe designed by singer Selena Gomez and the announcement of football kit deals with two major clubs: with AC Milan in Italy and Palmeiras in Brazil.
