New Südwolle yarns blend wool with other fibres

Yarn producer Südwolle Group has added “inspiring summer products” to its outdoor and functional yarns collection, ‘Yarn in Motion’. It will present the new yarns at the OutDoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen (June 17-20).

In the build-up to the show, Südwolle issued a reminder that wool is a natural fibre with functional characteristics such as comfort, odour resistance, breathability and temperature regulation; it provides a natural cooling effect.

Nevertheless, many of the new yarns the company is preparing to present are blends of wool with other fibres, including linen, nylon, Trevira, Coolmax, Tencel, hemp and silk.
