Puma introduces new fabric in golf collection
Sportswear manufacturer Puma has launched its autumn-winter 2018 collection of golf apparel, which includes the first products to be made using a new fabric it calls Fusionyarn.

The fabric is a blend of cotton and polyester, which Puma has said results in clothing that is breathable, comfortable and dries quickly.

Fusionyarn will be used in polo shirts for both men and women.

“With each new collection from Puma Golf we work hard to surpass our previous best-in-class standards of comfort, style and performance, and our autumn-winter 2018 collection certainly achieves that goal,” said Kristin Hinze, global head of golf apparel for Puma Golf. “Fusionyarn is the most comfortable and versatile fabric we’ve introduced.”

Puma’s latest golf collection also incorporates its evoKnit thermoregulation technology. It features carefully placed cooling zones which offer increased ventilation, and a seamless construction designed to increase range of motion. The fabric used also offers good moisture wicking properties.

The Puma Golf autumn-winter 2018 collection will be worn later in the golf season by players like Rickie Fowler (pictured), Bryson DeChambeau, Graham DeLaet, Jesper Parnevik, Lexi Thompson and Carly Booth.
