Archroma takes full ownership of M. Dohmen

It purchased a 49% stake in M. Dohmen in 2014 and an additional 26% in 2017. It has now purchased the remaining 25% of the company.
Explaining the acquisition, Archroma said: “Archroma and M. Dohmen product portfolios ideally complement each other, especially in the area of dyes and chemicals for synthetic fibres and wool, including for the automotive sector.”
Archroma will now proceed with the full integration of M. Dohmen into its business. It has said this will allow experts from the two groups to better serve the needs and requirements of their customers.
Marcos Furrer, president of brand and performance textile specialties and innovation at Archroma, said: “With this final step in the acquisition of M. Dohmen customers of both companies will now have access to even more products and solutions that work in their processes and markets, supported by Archroma’s leadership towards quality, innovation and sustainability.”
