Archroma promises footprint reduction with latest dyes

Dye maker Archroma has created three systems for outdoor and activewear applications, which it will present to customers at Techtextil in May.

According to the Swiss company, Color Vibe will enable nylon sportswear to maintain colour vibrancy; Fast Sport, a colouration system for polyester knitted sportswear, provides fastness in a reduced time and with a smaller environmental footprint; and Odor Control uses Sanitized’s Odoractiv 10 to prevent bacteria sticking to the textile surface while bad smells are trapped and neutralised.

Visitors to the Archroma booth will also be able to learn about Foron SP-WF, a new range of disperse dyes for polyester sportswear.

Techtextil takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 14 to 17 May 2019.
