Eurojersey puts its Sensitive Fabrics under the microscope
24/07/2018
The company announced a new three-year collaboration with WWF Italia earlier this month. As part of this partnership it will launch a range of activities, including an investigation into the problem of microplastics in seawater and the creation of a campaign to increase awareness of sustainable fishing.
Eurojersey is also part of a scientific study alongside the Italian National Research Council (CNR) aimed at comparing Sensitive Fabrics with other man-made fabrics in terms of their release of microplastic particles during washing.
This research has led the company to “seriously address” the issue of microplastics and to invest resources into developing solutions to improve the quality and extend the lifecycle of its fabrics.
