Finance expert to join Under Armour board

Co-founder and chief executive, Kevin Plank, said the economic and financial expertise of Dr El-Erian, who is also a columnist for Bloomberg and a contributing editor at the Financial Times, will be “welcome strengths” at Under Armour.
For his part, Dr El-Erian said he had been following Under Armour’s progress for more than a decade. He said: “I’m honoured to join the board of directors and to work with a management team that’s committed to creating long-term growth and returns for shareholders.”
