Finisterre celebrates its fifteenth anniversary
Cornwall-based cold-water surf brand Finisterre has released a special collection of products as it continues to mark its fifteenth anniversary in 2018.

The collection includes waterproof shell jackets, hoodies, jumpers, T-Shirts, hats and socks. Interestingly, it is being modelled on the brand’s website by members of the Finisterre team.

Among them is Debbie Luffman, Finisterre’s product director, who has been at the company since 2008. She has also written a piece on the brand’s dedicated blog, ‘The Broadcast’, which offers insight into how she joined the company, how it has progressed since then, and the changes she has seen in the textile industry during the past decade. Other members of the team have written similar blog pieces. They are available here.

Finisterre was founded by Tom Kay in a flat above a surf shop in Cornwall, in south west England. His aim was to create warm garments for surfers to wear before and after they go in the sea.

Fifteen years later, the company continues to make high-quality technical clothing with as little impact on the environment as possible. Its business is built on three key pillars: product, environment and people.
