Decathlon makes renewable energy pledge

Manufacturer and retailer of sports clothing, footwear and equipment Decathlon has issued a public statement to say it intends have all of its facilities around the world powered by renewable energy by 2026.

A number of Decathlon sites in Europe already have their own solar energy plants and, this year, it set up similar plants at some of its sites in China and India for the first time.

Decathlon currently has more than 1,400 stores in 51 countries.
