Fastener manufacturer makes Hong Kong appointment

Prym Group, a supplier of fasteners to activewear and other clothing and accessory brands, has appointed Brian Moore as the new chief executive of its fashion division, Prym Fashion Worldwide.

Based in Stolberg, near Aachen, the group is almost 500 years old, having been founded in 1530,  and is the oldest family-owned manufacturing business in Germany. Brian Moore will be based in the company’s offices in Hong Kong and will work to help the company grow its market share in Asia and the US.

Mr Moore has more than 25 years’ sales and marketing experience with Unifi and Scovill Fasteners, and has spent the past 17 years leading global businesses in Hong Kong.

Group chief executive, Dr Ansgar Nonn, commented: “Brian’s extensive background in textiles and apparel will be a strong asset as Prym Fashion develops and introduces new, innovative fastener solutions that address consumer trends and preferences.”
