ISKO takes its activewear fabrics to Performance Days

Arquas 5.0 is a collection of fabrics for performance and outdoor apparel. ISKO has said they deliver “superior performance” due to the fact that they are all woven. It adds, however, that many of them have the look and hand feel of knitted fabrics.
To demonstrate the potential end uses of these fabrics, ISKO has created five main categories: active, outdoor, hybrid, golfing and horse riding. Each category of fabric has qualities tailored to these different applications.
The company has incorporated a range of its technologies, which have already had considerable success in the denim industry, into the Arquas 5.0 collection. This includes the ISKO Ultradry finish, which is said to regulate moisture levels against the skin and encourage quick surface evaporation.
The collection also features fabrics with performance qualities such as wind protection, water repellency, UV protection and anti-bacterial and anti-odour effects.
