Arquas chooses nylon for the first time

Turkish textile maker Isko has used nylon for the first time as part of a collection for its sportswear platform Arquas.

The company presented light, woven and cozy outdoor fabrics, reversible and packable styles, as well as patented fabrics such as four way-stretch ISKO Blue Skin at the Outdoor Retailer show in Denver, US.

The 35 fabrics were woven and mostly recycled and offer performance properties such as moisture management, UV and wind protection, heat retention, water and stain repellency.

Its new collection also included garments with body shaping and high recovery properties.  

The design team created garments to reflect the fabrics, in three categories: active, which covers sports including fitness and running; outdoor, which offer increased performance such as water repellecny; and club sports, which focuses on flexibility and fit.
