Henri Lloyd prepares for relaunch in 2019

Specialist sailing apparel brand Henri Lloyd will make its return to the market in summer 2019 with the release of a performance clothing collection. 

The company entered administration in June before being acquired by the UK arm of Swedish investment group Aligro. A total of 129 jobs were lost following this period, including those at its headquarters in Manchester, which has been located to Gothenburg in Sweden. 

The Henri Lloyd team is now led by CEO Magnus Liljeblad, who has previously worked with Musto and Peak Performance. Its UK business is run by Graham Allen.

The performance collection in summer 2019 will include 25 styles for men and women, adapted for one design sailing, keel boats and Super Yacht.

This will be followed by a smaller fashion collection in the autumn and a complete performance and clothing line, due to launch in spring-summer 2020.
