Toray to expand resin production in Malaysia

Fibre manufacturer Toray has announced an expansion to its capacity to produce its acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin product Toyolac at its subsidiary in Malaysia.

The company will add a new facility with production capacity of 75,000 tonnes annually, with production starting in November 2020.

ABS resin is plastic that is, according to Toray, “light, strong and elegant with excellent processability”. It is used for an extremely wide range of consumer products.
