Moncler celebrates double-digit growth
High-end sports apparel brand Moncler has announced full-year revenues of €1.4 billion for 2018, an increase of 19% compared to the previous year. Net profits on this figure were €332 million, up by 33% year on year.

At a meeting of the Moncler board in Milan to announce the results, chief executive, Remo Ruffini, commented: “Today, Moncler is a solid company, which has been able to make significant changes and reach surprising results. We are all well aware that there is still much to be done to continue to improve but, now, I would like to take a moment to celebrate what has been achieved and to thank all stakeholders starting with our employees.”

He went on to say that Moncler’s investors know that economic and geopolitical uncertainties may “make the path steeper” in the coming months, but said investment in Moncler will continue.
