Moncler sees revenue grow 16% in first half of 2019

High-end sports apparel brand Moncler has reported revenue of €570.2 million in the first half of 2019, an increase of 16% compared to the same period of last year. 

Its comparable store sales were 9% higher year-on-year.

Revenue from the retail channel, which makes up more than three-quarters of Moncler’s overall sales, increased 16% compared to the first half of 2018. Wholesale revenue was 14% higher.

There was growth across all geographical regions. Revenue was 8% higher in Italy and 15% higher in the rest of the EMEA region. Sales in the Americas increased 15% and sales in Asia and the Rest of the World increased 18%.
