Moncler to increase investment in e-commerce

High-end ski brand Moncler has said online sales now account for just under 8% of its total revenue. It is planning to invest to further boost its e-commerce operations.

“Our direct e-commerce channel has grown 30 per cent in the last two years,” Luciano Santel, Moncler’s chief corporate and supply officer, explained to shareholders. 

He added that products sold through its own online business and via other e-retailers now account for 7.5-8% of revenue.

“This is positive given that some years ago this was zero. But we can do much more,” Mr Santel added.
