Physical retail remains important for Moncler
The chief executive of high-end ski brand Moncler, Remo Ruffini, has said that there will always be a place for brick-and-mortar stores in the luxury industry.

Speaking at a recent event, he revealed that e-commerce currently accounts for around 6-8% of Moncler’s revenue, but the brand estimates this could reach up to 20% in the future.

Despite this, Mr Ruffini said physical retail will “remain a factor” in luxury goods sales. He added that young consumers still have an affinity with commercial high streets and that travel retail has become increasingly significant.
