New cricket kit for India’s national teams from Nike

Since the start of March, India’s national cricket teams (women’s and men’s) have been wearing new kit from Nike.

Captain of the men’s national team, Virat Kohli, said the new kit was a tribute to the way Indian teams play cricket, “embodying a fearless spirit”.

Nike said new construction, garment cut angles and slash taping make the new shirts lighter and more breathable. They have what the sports brand called “a refined fit”, engineered mesh and strategically-placed sweat zones to keep players loose and cool.
