New Archroma binder based on renewable resources

Textile chemicals producer Archroma has launched Appretan NTR, which it describes as a “breakthrough” water-based textile coating binder based on renewable natural ingredients.

It introduced the new binder at the Techtextil 2019, emphasising that its active content is based on a polysaccharide from renewable raw materials, allowing a reduction in the use of fossil fuel-based resources without, according to Archroma, compromising performance.

Appretan NTR does not contain biocides or alkylphenolethoxylates (APEO) and does not release formaldehyde.
