Indorama recruits senior Clariant executive

Thailand-based fibre manufacturer Indorama has appointed Dr Deepak Parikh as its new chief strategy officer. Dr Parikh was, until now, the president of Clariant’s business in North America and was, before that, the textile chemicals manufacturer’s chief executive in India. He has also held senior roles at Invista, Dow and DuPont.

Indorama said on announcing the appointment that he will now play a pivotal role in “leading the evolution and implementation of the further transformation of Indorama”.

At the same time, Indorama announced Roberto Bettini as its new chief human resources officer. Originally from Italy, Mr Bettini has held senior human resources roles in various companies connected to the food industry, working in the US, Sweden, Switzerland and Thailand as well as in his home country.
