Blu flags up Taiana’s eco-responsibility credentials

Italian fabric developer Tessitura Taiana Virgilio presented a collection called Blu at Interfiliere Paris (July 6-8), emphasising what it calls the eco-responsibility of its products.

Presented for inclusion in finished product collections in summer 2021, Blu includes fabrics for sportswear, activewear, beachwear and swimwear.

Stream for technical sportswear uses polyamide derived from castor oil, while Yoga bi-stretch fabrics for activewear uses recycled polyester and recycled elastane. Golfo and Laguna swimwear and beachwear fabrics use Sinterama’s Newlife recycled polyester fibres.
